Local Scholarships
Carbondale Branch NAACP Dr. Seymour Bryson Scholarship - $500 will be awarded to a member of the BIPOC population who is also graduating high school in 2025. For more information, click here. Deadline - March 28, 2025
Masonic University Scholarship - This $500 scholarship will be awarded to any U.S. citizen/legal resident who is 25 or under and is also enrolled in or admitted to an accredited college, vocational school, or certification program. For more information, click here. Deadline - March 31, 2025

Kiwanis Club of Murphysboro Key Club Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to a graduating MHS senior who has been in Key Club for 2 years and has a GPA of 3.0 or higher. For more requirements, click here. Deadline - March 31, 2025
St. Joseph Memorial Scholarship - Three (3) $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students looking to pursue a career in medical/health care fields. For more information, click here. Deadline - March 31, 2025
District 6510 Rotary Charities Scholarship - A $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior planning to go to college/a trade school full time. They need to reside in the Rotary District 6510. For more information, click here. Deadline - April 1, 2025
Greg Yank 'Servant Leadership' Scholarship - $2,500 will be awarded to a high school senior who lives in the Rotary District 6510 or goes to a college/trade school in the Rotary District 6510. For more information, click here. Deadline - April 1, 2025
MEA Scholarship - This scholarship ($500) will be awarded to a student who is majoring in Education after graduation. The form is in the Guidance Office. Deadline - April 4, 2025

IPRB Post Secondary Education Oil & Gas Scholarship - This scholarship is for Illinois residents pursuing an oil and gas related degree or trade/technical school certification. Get application in the counseling office. Deadline - June 30, 2025
