This year your Student Council President and Vice President will be voted on by all of you, the student body.  Please start looking at posters and flyers and decide who you want in charge.  Their duties will consist of homecoming ideas, school activities and representation of Murphysboro High School in the community as well as in the Southern Illinois region of Student Councils.

The honors banquet is tonight at 6:00.  Tickets are available in the Guidance Office.

Paul Brinker will be taking random photos at prom and during coronation. These will be available for $15 each if ordered and paid on or before Friday April 22nd, and $20 on the night of prom. See Mrs O'Leary to order.

Seniors:  Only the new medal pride cards for 4th quarter will be accepted for off campus lunch for the remainder of the year.  If you still need to check to see if you qualified for one or you need to get, or turn in a permission slip, please see Mrs. Geis today.

Come join us for a newly revived Art Club.    Our first meeting on Thursday, April 9 at 8 am in the Art classroom, C-16.  We will be brain storming our ideas and looking at what direction we would like to see the Art Club go. All interested students are welcome to join.  See Mrs. Patterson if you have any questions.

Would you like to get out of your 4th period and get a pizza party for your class?  Bring in your spare change and support Key Club in their effort to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus in third world countries.  For every $1.80 that your class raises, you will save a mother and all of her future children from this fatal disease.  The 4th hour class that raises the most money will receive a pizza party on Friday, April 10th.  Please help!
