Thank you so much to all students and staff who helped collect lids for the daycare plastic bench. All together, we collected 127 lbs!! It will take 400 lbs to make the bench, but we put a HUGE dent in it!!
When I gave Abby the last pile and told her that we were done collecting for the year, she said that we collected more than anyone else she was receiving lids from. She told me to tell you all, "Thank you,
There is a meeting for all summer workers today from 3:30 – 4:30 in the Health room.
Anyone going on the Key Club and Beta Club 6 Flags trip next Monday should be at the high school by 8:15 AM. We plan to return by 9 PM.
Students who are taking Honors English 11 next year need to see Mr. White this week to pick up their summer assignments.
Teachers, you can begin returning textbooks anytime you are ready. Thanks!
Incoming Honors 10 English students should pick up summer assignment before or after school this week in Ms. Patterson's room.

Next year MHS will have a Gay/Straight Alliance, or GSA club. Anyone who is interested please come to an informational meeting in Ms. Morris' room (A79) after school on Tuesday, May 26th. There will positive vibes and food.
Juniors- If you are interested in doing an internship in an office setting next year but don't have a placement, please see your counselor ASAP.
Any boys or girls interested in running cross country need to meet in Mr. Ellermeyer's room (B16A) during ELP today.
Free sports physicals will be this evening, beginning at 5:00 p.m. here at MHS. Physicals are for next years’ Sophmores, Juniors and Seniors.

Today is our end of the year PBIS activity. There will be a bungee run, inflatable joust, life size Jenga, whiffle ball, kick ball, open gym for basketball, movie in the library, a sidewalk chalk drawing contest and snacks.
See Ms. Mikulay in Guidance if you did not pick up your cap and gown.
Today is the deadline to turn in your artwork for the Snapchat Geofilter. Remember it must be representative of Murphysboro High School. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Ellermeyer or Mr. Mucher.

Seniors, there will be Senior Choir and Baccalaureate practice every day during ELP. The Baccalaureate will be held on Sat. May 16, same day as graduation, at 2:00 pm in the High School Auditorium.
